feliz navidad!

First of all I want to say thank you, to a special group of girls. You gave me the best gift I could have ever asked for! You made my Christmas.

We spent Christmas Eve with my in laws, Naomi's Nana made a surprise visit for the holidays. His families traditions are so different than my families. They Stay up celebrating til about midnight, gave "Feliz Navidad" hugs and kisses all around, then open presents. I guess my family has more of an "American" tradition as in the kids go to bed because Santa won't come if you're awake. I remember me and my siblings waking up as early as 5am to open presents. So when we showed up at my mom's at about 9, my litter brothers were more than ready to rip up some sparkling wrapping paper to shreds.

Is that a look of surprise on her little face?

She loves her puppy!

Rhea giving kiss to her new baby...aww!

Didn't take her long to figure it out.

I just wish it would rock, sometimes I think she is going to take it's head off

I think we might have a few breakdowns...not sure that they will share very well

Bilingual toys...they're great she's already counting to five in in English and Spanish

obviously a good choice good job mommy!

I'm a Graduate!

At 7:00pm Friday December 12, 2008; I was pinned with my 8$ RN pin I bought off of eBay, I wasn’t about to pay 30 bucks for the ugly pin the school provided. Said the pledge based off of Florence Nightingale, and there you go officially Graduated Nursing School. I'm waiting for the photographer, my brother to upload the pictures...so I can share. Now I got to study for my boards. I hope I get a call offering me a position soon!

It's happing so fast!

It seems like yesterday, I just started school but it's been two years now. Time goes by so fast. I've learned so much, met so many wonderful people. I passed my finals, I'm going to get a B by three points. I graduate in eight days, Friday December 12. Four more night shifts of "internship" Then I only have the most important test of my life to pass, the National Council Licensure Examination for Nurses.

Hopefully I'll have a job in a few weeks. I've interviewed for three positions and already got one "We appreciate your interest but.." That's alright though I really didn't have much interest in that one. We would have had to move about an hour a way from the family. I wasn't heart broken. We could surely use a second income, things have been so tight lately we have been barely scraping by. But at least my girls are young and will not remember. There is a light at the end of the tunnel. Fingers crossed that I get the position that I have the most interest in.

We took these pictures after our class photo shoot on the last day of class. Thank you Shuanna for taking the pictures I love you!

These girls are my best friends...Muah!!!

The Tree is Up

We had a heck of a time trying to rearrange the furniture so that the Christmas tree would fit. After we found room for the tree there came the dilemma of keeping the ornaments out of the reach of little fingers and mouths.

November 28 Happy Birthday Naomi!

Naomi is two years old!
I wish I could have given you a bigger, nicer, more expansive party...
I love you happy birthday!

Happy Thanksgiving!

I made a Delicious cheesecake! It was gone in like three seconds after I cut it. mmm

We went to my mom's. I helped cook all day. The turkey could have been better, but the tamales were yummy! We watched movies and stayed up late finishing off the left overs! My favorite holiday because I love to eat!

November 18 Happy Anniversary!

Baby I know we really didn't have a fancy celebration. I just wanted you know how much I love you, if I could I would say I DO a thousand times over!
